life assignment

In astrology, the North Node is a point in your birth chart that represents your assignment in this lifetime. There’s something about having a life assignment that the A+ student in me finds very comforting. I’ve been doing some research on my placement (North Node in Virgo/ South Node in Pisces) and wrote this for myself:

At some point, you simply have to begin
participating in life

When you withdraw, you lose
When you participate
in creating the results you want to see
everyone wins

You’re the only one
who can put this in order
so you might as well
just do it

I’m sorry
but you have to live in the world--
this world

Resist escaping
into your inner bliss
It’s a trap /
break the spell

Instead, step forward
Make your visions real
Organize the project
Produce practical things
See they reach others

(Remember MOPS)
This will give you confidence

Actively experiment
Don’t try and figure it out in your head
Resolution can only come from others
and the outside world

Moving your feet
cuts through fears

But whatever you do
don’t give up
Hang on

You are a hands-on healer
When you’re here
So be here

In the physical realm
all your abilities come forth
This is the gift you were born with
You’re better at it than anyone else

When something isn’t working
don’t back away
Roll up the sleeves
walk directly in
and make it good
